Back on the National Stage — Two Years Running

We're proud to share that Flowers Gold Coast has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Awards — for the second consecutive year. Last year we brought home the win as Best Florist. This year, we're back, and we couldn't be more grateful to be nominated Best Florist.

When we found out we'd won the Florist category at the 2025 Australian Small Business Champion Awards, we couldn’t believe it, it was one of those moments that reminds you why you do what you do. Hours spent conditioning stems before sunrise. Custom arrangements built around a special moment, not just a colour palette. Same-day deliveries that needed to be right, not just on time. That recognition meant a great deal to us and to everyone who has trusted us with their most important moment.

So when the 2026 finalist announcement arrived, naming Flowers Gold Coast once again among the best florists in the country — we were quietly proud. Making the list twice in a row, from so many of entries across Australia, tells us we're doing something right for our customers.

Now in its 28th consecutive year, the Australian Small Business Champion Awards is one of the longest-running and most respected business recognition programs in the country, covering 106 categories across retail, hospitality, services and manufacturing. Being named a finalist isn't something that happens by luck.

It reflects the standard of work your customers experience every time they order from you. Unlike some industry awards, there's no fee to enter and no sponsorship that buys you a place on the list — businesses are evaluated on merit, which is what makes this recognition genuinely meaningful to us.

What it means to be the Best Florist

For us, that standard starts with the flowers themselves — sourced carefully, handled with purpose, and arranged with genuine attention. It extends to the care our team brings to every order, whether it's a bouquet for someone's mum or a full wedding installation built over weeks of planning. Every order gets the same commitment. That hasn't changed since we opened, and it won't.

Winners will be announced at the National Presentation Evening at Sydney's The Star on 1st and 2nd May 2026. Whatever the outcome, we're proud to represent the Gold Coast on a national stage — and deeply thankful to every customer, wedding couple, corporate client, and local business that has chosen us.
