Wedding Flowers at Botanica Plantation House, Duranbah NSW
Olivia & Stuart's Wedding with Flowers Gold Coast
Olivia and Stuart had a spring wedding at Botanica Plantation House in Duranbah, just over the border in Northern NSW, and we did their wedding flowers. They wanted white with pops of red. The ceremony was on the front lawn, looking out over the cane fields to Wollumbin, with a white urn of flowers on each side.
Olivia carried a small bouquet of white roses, calla lilies, Queen Anne's lace and hydrangea, with green amaranthus trailing below. Her bridesmaids carried white calla lilies.
Ceremony Urns - White Disbuds, Roses, Delphinium and Red Calla Lilies
The two urns sat on draped white plinths along the picket fence. We filled them with white disbuds, white roses and tall white delphinium, then added deep red ranunculus and red calla lilies for the pops of colour. Up on the plinths, they frame the couple without blocking the view behind them.

The floral urns were in the background for the whole ceremony, from Stuart waiting at the front through to the vows and the first kiss.
Bridal Bouquet - White Roses, Calla Lilies, Queen Anne's Lace, Hydrangea and Amaranthus
Olivia's bouquet was small and simple. White roses and hydrangea, a few calla lilies, Queen Anne's lace through the middle and green amaranthus hanging below. It suited her structured gown and didn't take over the dress.
Bridal Party Flowers - White Calla Lilies
The bridesmaids carried white calla lilies. Their dresses were deep burgundy, so the white callas stood out, and they matched the callas in Olivia's bouquet.
Reception Flowers at Botanica Plantation House
After the ceremony the urns were moved to the reception, so the same flowers welcomed guests as they came in, next to the welcome sign. Moving ceremony flowers to the reception is something we can do for you, or your venue can look after it.
The table centres were low white and green hydrangea with pops of red, set between tall candles along the long tables. Keeping them low means guests can still see and talk to each other across the table.
Why Wedding Flowers Matter
Your flowers are in almost every photo from the day. Using one flower in a few places, like the calla lilies here, ties the bouquet, the bridesmaids and the ceremony together. Moving your ceremony urns to the reception means you get to use them twice.
Planning Your Wedding at Botanica Plantation House?
Botanica's front lawn looks out over the Tweed Valley to Wollumbin. White with a bit of red, like Olivia and Stuart's, suits it well, and so do softer colours. For a different look at the same venue, see Ash and Harry's wedding at Botanica Plantation House, where we used pastels and native flowers.
