Venue & Vendor Open Day with Flowers Gold Coast

Flowers Gold Coast was delighted to be invited to participate in a recent Venue & Vendor Wedding Open Day at Coolibah Downs Private Estate, a venue we know and love, and one we have styled for many weddings over the years.

Open Days are a wonderful opportunity for engaged couples to experience a venue in full wedding mode — from ceremony spaces through to styling, florals, and trusted local vendors. For us, it’s the perfect chance to showcase our wedding flower installations, explore colour palettes in real spaces, and connect face-to-face with future brides and grooms.

Chapel Wedding Flowers – Moody Romance with Soft Pastels

For the chapel arrangements, we leaned into moody, romantic tones, layering deep burgundy and plum florals with lush green hydrangea, then softening the look with blush and pastel pink roses. The result was a rich, elegant floral installation that complemented the stone walls, warm timber details, and natural light of the chapel beautifully.

Textural elements such as cascading white calla lilies and trailing greenery added movement and softness, creating an altar arrangement that felt luxurious yet timeless — perfect inspiration for couples planning an indoor ceremony at Coolibah Downs.

Outdoor Ceremony Plinth Flowers

For the outdoor ceremony space, we shifted the palette slightly to embrace the surrounding landscape. Our plinth arrangements featured gorgeous greens and pinks, with layered hydrangea, romantic roses, and statement blooms in deeper tones to tie back to the chapel styling.

Set against manicured lawns and palms, these arrangements show how floral design can enhance an outdoor ceremony without overpowering the natural beauty of the venue.
